Anamika Sahu, Managing EditorWith the amount of contamination we have poured deep into the soil and water, there is nothing called as completely organic. Despite of not using the pesticides and preservatives to grow or manufacture food, there will always remain traces of chemicals and pesticides in our food. But this will take some time to go off if we continue following the organic way of farming and draining less to no chemicals in water and soil, which kill their natural nutrition. What is imperative is that today's generation have understood the importance of organic way of farming.
With this, there is enough push for people to go the organic way, i.e. consuming organic food due to the number of benefits it brings. Being more health conscious, people today are willing to buy organic products at an extra cost instead of spending on illness. Kudos to the generation that thinks this way! It is because of them that the Organic Food market in India is estimated to grow at a CAGR of 20 percent reaching a value of $2,091 million by 2024. This surge in demand will further insure that strict organic cultivation standards are adhered to with respect to impact on soil, water, and air, thus supporting environmental protection.
