In spite of having to deal with macroeconomic headwinds and a slow economy during the first half of 2025, Audi India has taken strategic initiatives to consolidate its luxury car market position. In the opinion of Audi India Head Balbir Singh Dhillon, the focus of the brand has been on long-term sustainable growth. Audi’s pre-owned car business, Audi Approved plus, saw a 10% growth between January and June 2025, highlighting the growing demand for high-quality certified pre-owned luxury vehicles.
The brand also introduced Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra as its ‘Friend of Audi’, reinforcing its progressive and aspirational positioning. With the festive season coming up, Audi India is optimistic and looking to provide a strong portfolio of products, build its retail network, and provide hassle-free after-sales services.
Audi had introduced Signature Editions of the Audi A4 and Q7 recently and is adding products to its portfolio with emphases on performance, innovation, and sustainability. Although the company hasn't announced future models, it remains committed to rolling out cars that blend innovative technology with forward-thinking design and luxury.
SUVs continue to be at the core of Audi India's development, with Q3, Q5, and Q7 drawing good orders, particularly from Tier-II cities. The brand is also seeing growing interest in the Sportback body type, including the Q3 Sportback and RS Q8 Performance, offering sedan-like sophistication combined with SUV utility.

On the electrification front, Audi India continues to lead the premium EV movement by offering a robust EV ecosystem. This includes over 6,500 charging points under the ‘Charge my Audi’ initiative and a special ‘e-tron hub’ within the myAudi Connect app to assist EV users. Dedicated services like complimentary charging, roadside assistance, and 12 high-voltage battery repair centers across India ensure an enhanced ownership experience. Though hybrids are not part of Audi’s immediate strategy, the brand remains focused on petrol models alongside an expanded EV portfolio to enable a gradual shift towards electrification.
Although Audi has no immediate intention to add models below the A4 and Q3, its Audi Approved: plus initiative provides a more affordable entry point to the brand's luxury world. Long wheelbase body design and new segment possibilities are also subject to ongoing consideration based on changing customer tastes.
