ETO Motors to Roll Out 500 Electric Three-Wheelers in Uttar Pradesh

ETO Motors has received an order to introduce 500 electric three-wheelers in Uttar Pradesh, with a specific emphasis on Ayodhya. The Uttar Pradesh government has issued a Letter of Award (LoA), tasking ETO Motors with the deployment and management of electric three-wheelers in various cities, including Lucknow, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Agra, Mathura, and Gorakhpur, according to the company's statement. Notably, ETO Motors has been granted permission to commence the deployment, with a special focus on Ayodhya, coinciding with the inauguration of the Ram Temple, as per the company's announcement.
The strategic introduction of electric three-wheelers in Ayodhya serves the purpose of facilitating the transportation of devotees to the sacred site, marking the initiation of integrating electric mobility into cultural and religious events, according to the company's statement. Director Karthik S Ponnapula emphasized that ETO Motors' e-three-wheelers go beyond being mere vehicles, representing agents of transformative change that drive economic growth and social empowerment, all while upholding a commitment to environmental responsibility. In addition, ETO Motors has announced a partnership with Uber to establish a sustainable and efficient electric mobility solution for urban transportation.
