Pricol Acquires SACL's Moulding Unit, Targets Industry Growth

Pricol has acquired the Injection Moulding division of Sundaram Auto Components Ltd (SACL) through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pricol Precision Products Private Limited, for an all-cash debt-free deal worth Rs 215.3 crore. The transaction is likely to add around Rs 730 crore of consolidated revenue, a company statement said.
The acquisition will help Pricol establish the injection moulding segment as a standalone vertical, enhancing the combined strengths of SACL and Pricol's existing capabilities. Sundaram Auto Components Ltd, a part of TVS Motor Company, is recognized for its advanced polymer solutions and injection moulding expertise.
