SunSource did not only impress the client with a world class project deployment, but also bagged the second phase of the project in 2015, which was even
more challenging. Today, Max Bupa generates 68.5 kW solar power, has snipped its monthly electricity expense by around Rs.1 lakh, and also earnsa lot of carbon credit points. Besides Max Bupa, SunSource Energy possesses a sparkling portfolio of over eighty projects in 15 states across India, and is capable of proffering the optimized solar technology projects at affordable prices."A large chunk of our projects were executed on a turnkey EPC basis, but increasingly, we have also helped other developers develop, build and occasionally, rebuild solar projects," asserts Adarsh Das, Co-Founder&CEO, SunSource. The company meets solar demand in Indian sphere, U.S. and other regions, with the technology edge that solar buyers need, which the organization earned through designing and executing projects globally.
As a channel partner of Ministry of New & Renewable Energy(MNRE)in India, SunSource Energy has a history of more than a dozen projects, many highly innovative.A SunSource project delivered for a non-profit organization, SANA, even bagged 'Google Impact Challenge Award'for integrating water pumping, drinking water(purification),and sanitation in a solar powered setup. This uncompromised model of delivery yields handful of projects for the organization, in addition to the strong social and environmental impact.

Two Massachusetts-trained solar engineers,Adarsh and Kushagra Nandan(Co-Founder,President& COO, SunSource) brain stormed their graduate student dream - to bring latest, dependable solar innovations to the Indian market, when the college mates came together for a solar project in the U.S. The timely announcement of government's National Solar Mission that anticipates 1,00,000 MW of solar power by 2022 acted as an igniter for the launch of SunSource in 2010. Today, the organization is actively engaged in advancing the much more ambitious solar mission of the new government, while at the same time developing and building solar projects globally.
SunSource today plays an end-to-end role in the solar domain. While the flagship is the turn key EPC services, the organization partners with other developers regularly to satisfy solar energy needs of the customers via power purchase agreements (PPA) and it also supports clients' needs with development advisory and support services. "We take delight in explaining to our clients as to how our services translate into the Lowest Levelized Cost of Energy(LCOE)for solar, when compared to any other energy source,"says Kushagra.
The Future
A few hours chat with Adarsh and Kushagra elucidated that they expect to see the major wedge of GW projects from the government forums such as NTPC. However, the organization plans to stay focused on its C&I core market segment that bring quicker paybacks and savings for its Clients."We want to continue our trend of serving clients who are looking for quality in addition to cost-effectiveness. We are working to co-create technology, process, and financial innovations with and for our Clients, it is a part of the DNA of SunSource," concludes Adarsh.
