Foresaw this crater was a couple of close friends from Delhi Vikas Owdhbal & Rajesh Kumar Budia – both having profound experience of more than one and half decade in the core power, electrical and security solutions industry. Post several years of brainstorming, in 2014, the duo came up with a panacea to all these hassles in the form of an organization – Senaxus Technologies Private Limited (STPL), which offers quality, comprehensive & end-to-end Power Management & Security solutions with utmost gravity on 24x7 after-sale services, and thus allowing its customers to sit back and relax during the installation, along the warranty period and even after the warranty period. In other words, with STPL, the commitment only gets bigger post product installation.
Quality Service – The Mantra
“Having a burgeoning CCTV market in place, proffering and maintaining a quality & timely service model is the most critical part, rather than product selling. In fact, most of the system integrators finish their engagement by providing a toll-free number to the customer. And even if the customers are lucky enough to get connected (most of the time, it doesn’t), the OEMs take weeks to replace or repair the product,” elucidates Vikas. With the level of experience they gained in the past, Vikas (by heading the Indian operations of an MNC) and Rajesh (by running an electrical products company) were well-acquainted with this service gap, and thus, instead of recruiting the sale-force first, they built a strong service team comprised of experienced service engineers to make sure that they never depend on OEMs and already have a strong service back bone in place when they introduce the sales-force. Today, having a highly dedicated backend team to support, STPL’s service engineers who serve 24x7x365 (in both security as well as power division) have drastically reduced the turnaround-time (TAT) by acting forthwith the first call from the customer, and visiting the spot not only with all the possible spare parts required, but also with a spare camera, which ensures the continuity of footage at any cost.

The company today bags all the new security & power management projects of its existing customers, the upcoming project of installing 200 cameras in Barmalt India’s (one of the largest manufactures of malt) new plant, after installing 100+ IP based CCTV cameras in their plant in Rewari, Haryana being a perfect example. “We design the complete network separately without mixing with the customer’s existing network, and then we integrate it with their existing setup. Their password protected data is saved on cloud, which they can change and access any time they want,” adjoins Vikas. Besides IP based cameras, and analog & HD CCTV cameras, STPL’s security solutions also include Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control, Fingerprint Door Locks and Video Door Phones.
Wearing the Power Management hat, STPL provides turnkey solutions for complete SITC (Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning) of all Power and security products. Catering with solutions ranging from Electrical products (including all Power & Data Cables and Electrical Accessories) to Power Conditioning (including online UPS Systems, Stabilizers & Invertors), Power Management (including AC Distribution Panels, Isolation Transformer, SMF Batteries & Diesel Generators) and Building Management (including BMS System Integrator, PA Systems & EPABX System), the company ascertains that the client never knocks any other door for their power and building management needs either.
Exploring New Arenas
Commenced its operations with seed funding, the company has grown by leaps and bounds doubling its size year after year. “When we started our business, the first year’s revenue was around Rs.50 lakh, which scaled up to Rs.1.5 crore in the second year and Rs.3crore in the third year. Currently growing at a CAGR of 100 percent, we aspire to be around Rs.10 crore by the end of this year and around Rs.100 crore by 2020,” adjoins Vikas.
With a vision of graduating itself from corporate to government sector, STPL today is busy making its platform stronger by augmenting its 20 people strong workforce with technically sound people. Rajesh says, “We have been working on integrated projects, especially in the corporate sector. In fact, such kind of integrated projects are very rare in the government sector and there are hardly a handful of companies who handle those projects. Most of them are typical contractors who subcontract the project to second or even third parties. Thus, our next mission isto explore the government sector”.

A son, a father and a husband of course! Having over 20 years of rich experience in corporate world, Vikas who lives in Delhi with his family of four is an Engineering Graduate in Electronic & Telecommunication and possess a Master degree in Business Administration. He was heading all India key position for almost 10 years in an MNC in his last assignment, handling Power management products and solutions.
Rajesh Kumar Budia,Co-Founder & Director
Rajesh is B.E in Electronic & Telecommunication, possesses a Master degree in Business Administration and also has an ICWA degree to his credit. He has over 20 years experience in handling his own business in Industrial Electrical supplies with a clientele comprising of leading Hotels, Hospitals and big corporate houses. He has a beautiful family of five. His three lovely kids and his only wife Babita!
