Speaking about the inception ideology of the firm, Priya Srivastava, Head HR at Solcells Energy says, “Energy sector is one of the most booming sectors and we were always motivated to investing our time and potential towards doing something better for our families and society. Our Government’s attention to renewable energy further boosted us to work harder. We saw huge potential in the Solar Energy market which assured about the sustainability of the sector, eventually leading to us establishing the Solcells Energy. There is always a sense of satisfaction about our efforts which contribute towards a greener environment each and every day, which is a realworld gift to the current as well as the coming generations.”
Solcells Energy started with educating people about the smart benefits ofsolar installations
and the government also took several initiatives to promote solar power adoption at a very significant scale. Eventually, this helped Solcells Energy. Today, the firm is a specialized EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) provider of end-to-end Ongrid and Offgrid solar systems. Solcells offers EPC for Domestic, Institutional & Commercial power plants of capacity ranging 02KWp to MWp, Full assistance on providing financial assistance by center and state, Assistance in net metering & DisCom billing, while the firm’s flagship offerings involve Best in class quality of installation, System performance and Billing support for monthly returns.
Purely operating as a solar company, Solcells Energy has been closely working with MNRE, NISE and SNAs (State Nodal Agencies) since its inception in Feb 2015 to make solar power easily available to all consumers. The ground level efforts of the firm got recognized in 2018 when it was awarded as ‘Best Brand of Uttar Pradesh-2018’. A recognized EPC player in UPNEDA for Subsidy projects among empanelled vendors, Solcells Energy has served more than 300 customers including names like NBCC (National building construction Corporation), UPNEDA, Ministry of New Renewal Energy GoI (MNRE), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, UPSIC, UPRNN and PWD-UP. An ISO certified company registered with MSME (Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium enterprises) & GEM (Government Electronics Market).
“We got registered with the MNRE in 2017 as an empanelled channel partner to facilitate central Government subsidy to Solar beneficiaries and also got registered under MSME in 2017. We also did a joint venture with a European company and a big Indian brand to promote solar in India by providing better understanding of technology like Grid Interactive System, Stand Alone System, Hybrid System, and MPPT Technology,” adds Priya Srivastava.
Started in one room, with one table, 4 chairs and one single ceiling fan, today, Solcells Energy is operating across 21 districts of Uttar Pradesh and 6 states across India, and the firm is expecting this to be multifolded in coming years. Working towards its expansion objectives, Solcells Energy is also participating in Inter Solar Expo in Brazil to partake in India pavilion in Brazil under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India, with the Indian Chamber of Commerce. The Indian chamber of commerce chose top 40 companies from India and Solcells Energy is one amongst them.
