for the pets inside our house. Any cruelty with these voiceless will be taken strictly by the government. If we take a look at section 428 of the Indian Penal Code, any escapade including killing and maiming animal of a value of 10 rupees will be subjected to tough legal actions. The offender may be punished with 2 years of jail or fine of both.

In section 429 of Indian Penal code, the punishments are much tougher. Mischief by poisoning, killing or rendering useless any animal of the value of 50 rupees or more are also subjected to the legal actions. The offender may be punished with 5 years of jail, fine, or both. There are lots of other government restrictions against the cruelty to these pets. These guidelines are now not more limited in western countries. We should feel proud because our government is also aware of the rights of animals.

Another important thing to note in the pet industry is the growing demands of pet dogs. In India, dogs are much popular than any other pet like birds, cats, etc. Till the time, dogs are the biggest contributors to the overall growth of this field. Also, they generate the largest revenues for this industry. The demands for different varieties of dogs are continuously increasing in India. Some popular types of pet dogs in India are Labrador, Doberman, German Shephard, etc.

Along with an increasing number of pets and pet owners in our country, the pet care industry is now collecting huge revenues.
