Mahindra Aerostructures Inks $100M Deal with Airbus Atlantic
Mahindra Aerostructures announced the signing of a significant multi-year contract valued at approximately USD 100 million with Airbus Atlantic. This agreement entails the manufacturing and delivery of metallic components for the entire Airbus commercial aircraft family, including A320 family planes.
Under the terms, Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt Ltd (MASPL) will supply nearly 2,300 varieties of metallic components to Airbus Atlantic in France, leveraging its manufacturing base in India. This deal complements MASPL's existing programs, involving direct part deliveries to Airbus facilities in France and Germany.
Having served as a direct supplier to Airbus Group since 2015, MASPL has established fruitful partnerships with Airbus across various initiatives. Airbus Atlantic's Chief Procurement Officer, Jose Maria Trujillano, emphasized that deepening ties with Mahindra Aerostructures will enable Airbus to tap into their robustness, expertise, and advanced technological capabilities, thereby enhancing their supply base.
Vinod Sahay, President of Aerospace and Defense at Mahindra Group, hailed this contract as a milestone in their relationship with the Airbus Group, anticipating that it will open new avenues for collaboration and growth.
