Fast serving eating place has been a trend for quite a time and Zwarma, with its three partners Dinesh Rathinam (Founder and CEO), Saravanan (Co-founder), Santhanakrishnan (Managing Partner), from Business Administration background are leading the industry in India. Zwarma offers 25 varieties of Shawarma and six variants, which is their USP.

"We don't charge any royalty or other charges from the franchisees. Our main plan is to empower franchise and build them to become an entrepreneur. We came up with this Shawarma plan due to its demand and high potential. We are on the path to becoming an honest business holder and our idea is to bring a proper ecosystem for the Shawarma business and make it a stand-alone shop in an organized way," says Dinesh Rathinam, Founder and CEO, Zwarma.

Zwarma offers complete support to the franchises based on the requirement for location, market research and workers' necessities. It operates in 7 states. "It is hard for us to understand the region and potential of each state unless we are the native persons in that area. We have standards that we follow no matter what the situation is for approving the location and other things. And
clients have to place 6-8lakhs to induce the franchise of Zwarma. Even they need to follow the rules concerning menu, design, name us-age, change of state strategies, etc.

Anyone, who is a franchise owner needn't be a cook, or a building owner or something else. We offer the materials to the franchises that are needed to cook. They simply have to follow the procedure. All masalas are measured to correct quantity and we take a look at those every time. We are FSSAI license holder and we won't add any artificial flavours or harmful chemicals to the merchandise. Our quality team checks the standard of our franchises relating to their region appointed by us," explains Saravanan Co-founder, Zwarma.

Covid-19 affected every business adversely and it did not spare Zwarma. In numerous ways, it is a major challenge in recent times. Still, Zwarma operates by taking it as a challenge. And when relaxations were given, new members started coming into to the market. "We have additional varieties and variants compared to the others. We have the sturdy mark within the Shawarma business and our strategies are simple to adopt that proves that we can be a top brand," mentions Santhanakrishnan, Managing Partner, Zwarma.
